I didn't finish college and was a stay at home mom for 16 years. When the kids were all in school full-time, I decided it was time to go to work. I had no degree, no skills and no experience. I enrolled in the Medical Billing and Coding program at Martinsburg Institute and finished it within six months. With the knowlege I gained in that program, I was able to take the NCCT national exam for Medical Office Assistant and gained my certication in that as well. Upon completion of both, I began to look for a job. Within 2 weeks, I had a full-time job at a major hospital. I have been there 7 months and I love it!!
